Rating: 3 out of 5 stars. Book 2 finds Cel on the road in route to the desert as punishment for messing up her master's slave trade deal. Apparently someone put 2 and 2 together despite her attempts to lay the blame on the pirate Lord. 

She stops at an inn and tries her best to hide her bruises from the beating she got from her master. There's no word on what's become of Sam, but Cel knows things can't be good. 

While at the inn, she itches for a fight and meets a healer who's working at the inn. They quickly become friends and Cel teaches her how to defend herself since she sees potential in her.

Not much of a story, but it was good to get a little update on her and Sam.
